Rx. Scrophulariae Xuan Shen 7-30g Clears Heat, cools the Blood, nourishes Yin, softens hardness, dissipates nodules, transforms Phlegm-Heat, drains Fire and relieves toxicity.
With Mu Li and Zhe Bei Mu, for scrofula, goiter, and other nodules due to Phlegm.
Rz. Anemarrhenae Zhi Mu 6-12g Clears Heat, drains Fire, nourishes Yin, moistens Dryness, generates Fluids, clears Deficiency Fire and quenches thirst.
With Zhe bei Mu, for cough due to Lung Heat or Yin Deficiency with expectoration of thick, yellow sputum.
With Bie Jia, for steaming bone disorder.
Fr. Gardeniae Zhi Zi 3-12g Clears Heat, reduces Fire, eliminates irritability, cools the Blood, relieves toxicity, reduces swelling and activates the Blood.
Spica Prunellae Xia Ku Cao 6-18g Clears Liver Fire, clears Hot Phlegm and dissipates nodules.
With Zhe Bei Mu, cools and relieves toxicity to disperse and transform Phlegm and treat goiter, scrofula and swollen or inflamed lymph glands.
Carapax Trionycis Bie Jia 9-30g Nourishes Yin, anchors Yang, invigorates the Blood, softens hardness and dissipates nodules.
With Chuan Niu Xi, Xuan Shen, Zhi Mu, Zhi Zi, Xia Ku Cao and Mu Li, for goiter.
